Do you find it harder to give or receive forgiveness?
This is one of the questions that seemed to be lingering under the surface in our conversations about the "unfinished business" of forgiveness that most of us have on our hands. Where are you on this one? And why do you think that is?

I would definitely say that I find it harder to receive forgiveness. When I forgive, if I truly forgive, I am able to feel in my heart that things are made right. When I am forgiven, I often have this lingering doubt about whether I am truly okay with the other person, or with God. I find myself apologizing to God over and over for the same things, not willing to accept that I've been forgiven.
